Survivor Zambales: Winning in Anawangin

Meet my awesome tribe. I think we won the Zambales challenges since we lead most of the challenges. We won most of the challenges because we got Enzo the superboy in our tribe. :) The results were not yet posted so maybe we’re gonna have more games for this season.

I can’t remember if I ever blogged about my being transferred to another sub-department. I was, in April. My new manager have been very efficient to organize a team building immediately after the transfer and hiring of new team members. The marketing department have been doing these friendly games for quite sometime, and usually, we see the outing as a reason to hold the game finals.

Zambales is the venue for our survivor-themed team building. We stayed at Canoe Beach Resort in Pundaquit. But upon our arrival in the resort, we only left our things and then went to the venue of the first set of challenges, which is Anawangin Cove.

We went there Monday so there were very few campers, unlike last year when I first went there. Anawangin was a tent city and I didn’t like it. I liked how secluded the place is this time, plus we had lots of space for our games. Upon arrival, we didn’t start with the games yet, instead, the manager allowed us to go swimming and take photos first.

We started with the games right after lunch. The heat from the noontime sun was scorching! That’s how most of us got sunburned actually.

The games have been the most exhilarating, challenging and fun games we ever had. That part where we need to steal other tribe’s challenges (if they’re not done yet) and we get a point if we finish their task, it was required so we took one challenge from the all-girls tribe but after that we asked the moderators if we could stop taking other’s challenges dahil baka mahirapan na sila makahabol, chos!

After the games, we were again set free. Some went hiking to the hill at the leftmost side of Anawangin while some preferred to just stay and swim. We went back to Pundaquit before the waves go harsh on the boats.
