Connecting Flights: Filipinos Write From Elsewhere

I love love this! Connecting Flights is a compilation of essays and fiction from Filipino writers. It's a thin book but took me days to read, because I'd only read everytime I commute to work.

When I was reading each piece, I was like transported to those places and although some of these places were not really listed on the places I want to see before I die, I now added some of them. I almost cried while reading Cristina Pantoja Hidalgo's essay on New York. It's my ultimate dream city and I was so envious while reading her.

This one's really a good read! :)
