Manila Zoo

My mother and cousin were vacationing in Manila and since it was the weekend, we went out, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to go that is not the malls, so I took them to Manila Zoo and we went for a stroll at Roxas Boulevard after. To be honest, the zoo is not a nice place to go to because the state of the animals is just saddening. It was only my second time to visit Manila Zoo, the first was last year. Was I really expecting that things would get better in a year? I really hope they rehabilitate the zoo and take better care of the animals in there. I really pity animals in zoos. What a waste of life to spend in captivity.
