Are You Overworked?

Do you find it hard to wake up in the morning thinking you are going to work? Are you always looking forward to Fridays, weekends, holidays or vacations? Do you just go to work because you do not want to lose your job of for salary’s sake? Then you are already bored with your job. I read from a research paper that these are just several signs that a person is already bored of his job.

Most people who are already in their second to fifth years in their jobs usually lose their appetite and enthusiasm towards their works. Some of these people become incompetent because they're no longer happy with what they are doing.

Some people say they want something new. Some say they want a new environment. There are also those who want to do new things and learn new stuff. Practical persons reason out that they need a higher rate so they get a new job. People have different reasons of leaving their companies. But the bottom line is, if you are getting tired of your job, think twice before typing that resignation letter. You may just be feeling overstressed or overworked.

Sometimes, employees just need to take a break from work. Maybe a couple of days or more, a person can go to an island or other relaxing place where he/she could unwind and refresh. This will help the person rejuvenate and regain enthusiasm towards his/her work.

Also think of the trajectory of global economy. Companies are laying off employees due to cost cutting and fresh graduates can hardly find jobs. Before you resign, make sure you have a job waiting for you. Unless you want to remain unemployed more than you have planned and end up giving your children essay writing help during school days.

While it is your advantage among other applicants that you have work experience, some employers usually prefer fresh graduates who have fresh minds and fresh ideas that could be used by the company. Some employers have a thinking that old employees think obsolete and instead of being assets, they can be the company's liabilities in the end.
