Why I'm Single #27

When all else fails, change religion.

In desperate times, we need desperate moves, sabi nga ni Inah.

My friends never ran out of crazy ideas, at last night's drinking session, somebody suggested the idea of changing religion so we can finally found the one. The topic spawned when I asked a friend about why her cousin would marry in such a young age (23). Apparently, in her cousin's religion, they believe that if you found your love, why waste time waiting if you can marry them...as soon as possible? The thing is like if you love someone, dapat hindi mo iniisip na maghihiwalay kayo in the future. So bakit mo pa pahahabain ang paghihintay. Get married and start spending your life together. Parang, kapag mahal mo siya, then he/she is the one. Walang s/he might be the one. Sweet, 'no?

Sabi ko bigla, kelangan ko nang lumipat ng relihiyon. Baka dun ko makita ang the one. Sabi ng isang friend, wag muna, saka na pag trenta ka na, pag desperada ka na talaga. :p
