Mind Museum for Mara's Day

Mara turns 23 tomorrow and she planned to feed an entire barangay-- at lest that's what it seemed to me, what with all the food they cooked and ordered, and there were only, maybe, 25 guests all in all.

Didn't have a nice camera so no food porn here. But I have to just have to stress out how plenty the food were. LOL Wrong move on my side because my officemates and I dined at Banapple before I went to the Mara's. (I had to go there to buy her a pie/cake and since we rarely go there, my friends decided we eat a meal there.)

Anyway, the only regret I feel is not getting a bite of that buco pie. Haha! I was so full and chose to eat banoffee pie and joked around that I'll just take home a box of buco but I forgot, so there. Now, I'm craving like crazy.

The initial plan was to eat at Mara's new place, and then transfer to Timog to drink, because we couldn't do it in the new house, they got a priest for a neighbor.

But apparently, the birthday girl was expecting people at random times of the day, so we never left the house, and just entertained ourselves (thanks to logo quiz and cable TV), and eating every now and then. I wanted to go home to get enough sleep, but the people won't allow me, so we slept in one of the many rooms in the house, without only a single mattress and some ----- for the five of us.

The next day, while we're at the necessary chitchat about our what's going on with common friends, a friend was brought up and upon learning that she works at Mind Museum, everybody got excited and decided to contact her and check out the Museum.

By 9am, she replied, and instructed us to be at the museum by 12noon to catch her. I know it was almost impossible for me to make it to Taguig by 12 when I chose to go home to change, but I still did. And I made it, before 12.

The Mind Museum is located at the posh Fort Bonifacio in Taguig. Walking in the streets of that place always makes me feel like I am not in the Philippines, well, aside of course from the heat.

Entrance fees to the museum varies, for normal adult it it P750, for private school students and teachers it's 450, for public school/state university students and teachers, P150 and children below 2 feet are free.
