Foods That You Think Are Healthy But Are Actually Not

Living healthy is not a walk in the park. It's not easy to totally convert into an all-healthy diet. Most of the time, we are not aware of it but we are consuming a rather unhealthy choice of food.

Words such as "low fat", "high fiber", "multi-grain" and "natural" can easily fool even the most sophisticated consumer into believing what they are buying is healthy.

Here is a list of products you have to avoid when buying your groceries:

Reduced-fat Peanut Butter - has as many calories and more sugar than the regular.

Enhanced Water - are sugary drinks with a vitamin pill and are unequivocally harmful to health.

Energy Bars - are calories bombs- candy bars with vitamins, protein or fiber added.

Multi-grain Foods - can cause overweight.

Non-fried Chips and Crackers -are actually made with refined grain or starch, which provide plenty of calories and few nutrients.

So next time you hit the groceries, remember to resist pulling these products off from their shelves.
