You never met me. I developed a rabid crush on you when I saw your photo online. And this is where my side (and the only side of) story begins. I warn you, this letter is next-level creepy.

I saw your photo and found you cute so I began digging through the albums of the Facebook page of the company you were working for. You were a local celebrity on your own right, so I was just an addition to the people who like you.

My delusions went to the next level when I actually began considering that you might be "the one." I didn't know anything about you, except what I saw and read online, but there was just something in you that made me think that we're going to "click." I was so sure you and I are gonna happen. Things are going to find their way like they always do, I thought.

Indeed, one day, somebody must've thought it was time for us to meet. I was visiting the place that was once my home, your city when we happen to be at the same place at the same time. I didn't think it was mere coincidence. I was so sure it was destiny's work.

You most probably won't remember this but we've actually seen each other. It was a scene cut from an episode of a TV series. I was sitting alone in a restaurant, waiting for a friend, and you were right at the next restaurant. I saw you emerging from the glass door, phone in one ear, walking to a secluded part of the mall. You looked my way and our eyes met. I really thought that that was it, the beginning of our story.

If I was braver, I would've approached you, but I wasn't. So I just sat there, waiting for destiny to work its way. But nothing happened. The person I was waiting for arrived, and you went back to where your friends were. And that was it.

I know I should totally erase all my delusions involving you, but I'd still love to meet you.
