Highlights of my February

So, we just figured we wanted to go to Baguio, to grill some lamb chops. Not kidding. We could grill lamb anywhere, but we actually bothered to travel all the way to Baguio just so we can have our small lamb party. I don't know what's going on with out minds sometimes. But no matter how random it is, it was a weekend filled with fun. It was always these kinds of trips that leaves lasting memories anyway.

Here are some snapshots:

Mara brought the lamb from QC, and the night before, we marinated the meat in some random marinate we googled. And we did this while talking about some people's lovelives.

The next day, we had to go to town to buy charcoal, lemons, and of course, alcohol. This because none of the stores in Bangs' neighborhood sells charcoal. We went to town in sleeping clothes--my friends in their pyjamas, in my case, in an oversized shirt, nyekneyk shorts, and knee high socks. Napag-trip-an nila ako. I told them I'll just go back to Bangs's house and just wait for them, pero ayaw nila. Masaya sila dun so hinayaan ko na lang. :p

Tadah! Lunch is served!
Siyempre kumakain na kami kapag may naluluto. First time kong makakain ng lamb. Ito talaga yung reason kaya kami nag-lamb party, dahil sabi ko di pa ako nakakatikim ng lamb meat, and also si Dona and Bangs din yata.

So anyway, after lunch, we went back to Bangs' room, and slept to our hearts' content. In the afternoon, I told them I want to go out. Pahirapan ang pagconvince. We took a cab to Arca's Yard (medyo malapit kina Bangs), unfortunately, they were closed. So we went back to Bangs' house, and just had dinner there.

Bangs's Dad's Pata Tim. Ang sarap!

The next day, we really had to go out to meet with the Luises. We had lunch at our new Baguio favorite--Amare La Cucina.

Tre Formaggi. Love at first bite
Ragu Bolognese Pasta

Ragu Bolognese Pizza

Strolled around Camp John Hay for a while. Hinabol-habol ang makulit na si Dinang.

Pangarap ko talagang makaupo sa kitkat chair. Pramis.
When we got tired of chasing Dinang na maraming energy, we went for coffee and dessert at another Baguio classic, Vizco's.

Strawberry shortcake forever
While in the cafe, we waited for the dragon dance. Nasa gitna talaga kami, para maraming masagap na swerte. :p Dahil wala kaming ibang magawa, we checked out this restaurant Kuya Ben had been talking about--Secret Garden Restaurant and Cafe.

Quattro Formaggi and plum tea
Yung plum tea and ipinunta namin talaga.

Seafood pasta. Yung tunay.
Ang sarap talaga sa Baguio. I never want to leave again.
