In this piece of land that is in her husband's name, Pramila cultivates tomatoes. She does the planting, tending, and harvesting of the crops. Her husband, on the other hand, brings the harvested produce to the market.

During our discussion, the women farmers shared that traders tend to pay more attention to male sellers, thus, the job of selling the produce goes to the husband or the male members of the family. Meanwhile, the women are tasked to do more of the work on the farm.
